Our sweet beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, granddaughter and friend Sierra Lane Lopez left this world much too soon on August 18th 2021. Born in Riverside California on July 8th 1998 to Saul and Sherry Lopez, Sierra was raised alongside her loving sisters Savanna and Summer. Though her time was short, Sierra managed to make an impact on many lives.
To say that Sierra was the epitome of patience and kindness would be an understatement. She shared her heart endlessly with friends and family, while cherishing the friendships she kept since elementary school. Through those friendships she cultivated a steadfast commitment to her Christian faith. It was that devotion and a leap of faith that led her to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona in 2016. Sierra earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree at Grand Canyon University, a private Christian University.
It was in Phoenix that she truly let her heart of giving shine, volunteering for Outreach Ministry and Best Buddies club to serve local homeless and special needs communities. Sierra’s passion to help others ultimately led her to begin her career as a Board-Certified Autism Technician.
Sierra was humble in a way that could put anyone at ease and had a laugh that could bring a smile to any face. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, spending time with her family, going to the beach, watching baseball (go Dodgers!), discovering new coffee shops and painting as much as she could.
There will never be enough words to describe what Sierra is and was. She left this world without the opportunity to explore every road and passion, but she made her legacy known in the time she had. Sierra will leave behind an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her, but the light she radiated will shine without end.
